Intro
Junicus is a nickname that was bestowed upon me by a coworker at a burger joint, during high school. Unbeknownst to him, it was the most interesting thing I've ever been called.
My name is June, but I was born in May. I'm originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. This journal chronicles two years spent in Nagoya, Japan, teaching English to the masses, and a 4 month journey solo through Southeast Asia.
I am presently serving a few years in Canada, dreaming of the next time I stumble jetlagged off a plane.

Not to be pedantic, here, but why are you contrasting synchronicity, a noun, with asynchronous, an adjective?
Either contrast noun with noun, or adjective with adjective. Jeez.
A pedant, you are. Oh no...I used the noun instead of the adjective. Pedantic.
